exploring eden

"Exploring eden" is our collection of workshops, services and material aimed at unleashing creativity, prophetic vision and new expressions of God's work throughout the Church.

It's not about re-thinking, it's about re-discovering....

Workshops - Image streaming in a spiritual context

These are some of the most exciting things I've led!
Jenny Bell

eden 1Biblically based and geared to encouraging the use of the imagination...not only to find out more about ourselves, but in problem solving and discovering new ways of looking at church life. Often emotional because of the insights and bonding in the group, but also because the creative mind is taken seriously and is given a useful job to do.

When a church or church group is considering its direction, or any sort of change or problem, it's a great idea to enquire of God, not just through prayer, but to actively seek answers in an Exploring Eden group; engaging the individual visionary imagination, seeking to be corporately prophetic and discerning.

Exploring Eden Study Guide - Streams of Spirituality

eden 2 A package of dvds, audio cds and booklets which should be ready for relase in the autumn of 2010.

A 7-part study guide to encourage the visionary in all of us; looking at our spirituality in terms of the eternal themes of Advent.

It's jargon-free and layered to be of interest in schools and non-Christian situations as well as for creative retreats and church groups. With a very different approach to standard study guides, "Streams" can help us to see our Christian faith in a totally new light.

The Exploring Eden liturgy

eden 3A formal service centred on reverential worship and prayer, with opportunities to engage with the visionary in image streaming and discernment, both inwardly (our own spirituality and direction) and outwardly, (enquiring of God for issues of relevance to the church and group.)

Often we can see "liturgy" as a rigid structure or formalised procedural approach to worship but our liturgy framework gives the individual opportunities to engage with and explore their own spiritual landscape, whilst being part of corporate worship and practical interaction. There are suggestions for music and readings, but it aims to be more of a 'wireframe' rather than a complete model.
